vipra kahe, — prabhu, mora aranye vasati
pākera sāmagrī vane nā mile samprati
SYNONYMS
vipra kahe — the brāhmana replied; prabhu — O Lord; mora — my; aranye — in the forest; vasati — residence; pākera sāmagrī — the ingredients for cooking; vane — in the forest; nā mile — are not available; samprati — at this time.
TRANSLATION
The brāhmana replied, "My dear Lord, we are living in the forest. For the time being we cannot get all the ingredients for cooking.
