āsiyā kahena saba bhattathāri-gane
āmāra brāhmana tumi rākha ki kārane
SYNONYMS
āsiyā — coming; kahena — He said; saba — all; bhattathāri-gane — to the Bhattathāris; āmāra — My; brāhmana — brāhmana assistant; tumi — you; rākha — are keeping; ki — for what; kārane — reason.
TRANSLATION
Upon reaching their community, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu asked the Bhattathāris, "Why are you keeping My brāhmana assistant?
