īshat hāsiyā kichu kahe gauramani

SYNONYMS

vaishnavatā — Vaishnavism; sabāra — of all of them; antare — within the mind; garva — pride; jāni' — knowing; īshat — mildly; hāsiyā — smiling; kichu — something; kahe — says; gaura-mani — Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu.

TRANSLATION

Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu could understand that the Tattvavādīs were very proud of their Vaishnavism. He therefore smiled and began to speak to them.
