premāveśe kaila bahuta kīrtana-nartana

tāhāń eka vipra tāńre kaila nimantrana

SYNONYMS

prema-āveśein the great ecstasy of love; kaila — performed; bahuta — much; kīrtana-nartana — chanting and dancing; tāhāń — there; eka — one; viprabrāhmana; tāńre — unto Him; kaila — did; nimantrana — invitation.

TRANSLATION

Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu chanted and danced in various ways as usual. A brāhmana, seeing Him in ecstatic love, was very pleased and invited the Lord to his home for lunch.
