prabhura āgamana śuni' nityānanda rāya

uṭhiyā calilā, preme theha nāhi pāya

SYNONYMS

prabhura — of Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; āgamana — arrival; śuni' — hearing; nityānanda rāya — Lord Nityānanda; uṭhiyā calilā — got up and started; premein great ecstasy; theha — patience; nāhi pāya — does not get.

TRANSLATION

As soon as Nityānanda Prabhu received news of the arrival of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, He immediately got up and started out to see Him. Indeed, He was very impatient in His great ecstasy.
