pāṣaṇḍī āila yata pāṇḍitya śuniyā
garva kari' āila sańge śiṣya-gaṇa lañā
SYNONYMS
pāṣaṇḍī — nonbelievers; āila — came there; yata — all; pāṇḍitya — erudition; śuniyā — hearing; garva kari' — with great pride; āila — came there; sańge — with; śiṣya-gaṇa — disciples; lañā — taking.
TRANSLATION
When the nonbelievers heard of the erudition of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, they came to Him with great pride, bringing their disciples with them.
