pāshandī āila yata pānditya śuniyā
garva kari' āila sańge śishya-gana lańā
SYNONYMS
pāshandī — nonbelievers; āila — came there; yata — all; pānditya — erudition; śuniyā — hearing; garva kari' — with great pride; āila — came there; sańge — with; śishya-gana — disciples; lańā — taking.
TRANSLATION
When the nonbelievers heard of the erudition of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, they came to Him with great pride, bringing their disciples with them.
