śrī-śuka uvāca

ity ādiśyāmara-ganān

prajāpati-patir vibhuh

āśvāsya ca mahīm gīrbhih

sva-dhāma paramam yayau

SYNONYMS

śrī-śukah uvācaŚrī Śukadeva Gosvāmī said; iti — thus; ādiśya — after informing; amara-ganān — all the demigods; prajāpati-patih — Lord Brahmā, the master of the Prajāpatis; vibhuh — all-powerful; āśvāsya — after pacifying; ca — also; mahīm — mother earth; gīrbhih — by sweet words; sva-dhāma — his own planet, known as Brahmaloka; paramam — the best (within the universe); yayau — returned.

TRANSLATION

Śukadeva Gosvāmī continued: After thus advising the demigods and pacifying mother earth, the very powerful Lord Brahmā, who is the master of all other Prajāpatis and is therefore known as Prajāpati-pati, returned to his own abode, Brahmaloka.
