SYNONYMS
ma bhaishta -- don't any of you fear; vata -- the wind; varshabhyam -- and rain; tat -- from that; tranam -- your deliverance; vihitam -- has been arranged; maya -- by me; iti -- thus; uktva -- speaking; ekena -- with one; hastena -- hand; yatanti -- endeavoring; unnidadhe -- she lifted; ambaram -- her upper garment.
TRANSLATION
"Don't be afraid of the wind and rain," said one gopi. "I will save you." And with that she lifted her shawl above her head.
PURPORT
Here a gopi enacts Lord Krishna's pastime of lifting Govardhana Hill.
