tato gatvā vanoddeśam

driptā keśavam abravīt

na pāraye 'ham calitum

naya mām yatra te manah

SYNONYMS

tatah — then; gatvā — going; vana — of the forest; uddeśamto one region; driptā — becoming proud; keśavamto Krishna; abravīt — She said; na pārayeam not able; ahamI; calitumto move; naya — bring; māmMe; yatra — where; te — Your; manah — mind.

TRANSLATION

As the two lovers passed through one part of the Vrindāvana forest, the special gopī began feeling proud of Herself. She told Lord Keśava, "I cannot walk any further. Please carry Me wherever You want to go."
