SYNONYMS

tasam -- of them, the gopis; rati -- of conjugal love; viharena -- by the enjoyment; srantanam -- who were fatigued; vadanani -- the faces; sah -- He; pramrijat -- wiped; karunah -- merciful; premna -- lovingly; santamena -- most comforting; anga -- my dear (King Parikshit); panina -- with His hand.

TRANSLATION

Seeing that the gopis were fatigued from conjugal enjoyment, my dear King, merciful Krishna lovingly wiped their faces with His comforting hand.
