śantamenāńga pāninā
SYNONYMS
tāsām — of them, the gopīs; rati — of conjugal love; vihārena — by the enjoyment; śrāntānām — who were fatigued; vadanāni — the faces; sah — He; prāmrijat — wiped; karunah — merciful; premnā — lovingly; śantamena — most comforting; ańga — my dear (King Parīkshit); pāninā — with His hand.
TRANSLATION
Seeing that the gopīs were fatigued from conjugal enjoyment, my dear King, merciful Krishna lovingly wiped their faces with His comforting hand.
