tam apricchad dhrishīkeśah
SYNONYMS
tam — from him; apricchat — inquired; hrishīkeśah — the Supreme Lord Hrishīkeśa; pranatam — who was offering obeisances; samavasthitam — standing before Him; dīpyamānena — brilliantly shining; vapushā — with his body; purusham — the personality; hema — golden; mālinam — wearing necklaces.
TRANSLATION
The Supreme Lord Hrishīkeśa then questioned this personality, who was standing before Him with his head bowed, his brilliantly effulgent body bedecked with golden necklaces.
PURPORT
The demigod was about to speak, and Lord Krishna wanted to focus everyone's attention on his words. Therefore He personally inquired from the worshipable Vidyādhara, who was standing before Him with his head bowed.
