evam priyatamādishtam
SYNONYMS
śrī-śukah uvāca — Śukadeva Gosvāmī said; evam — in this fashion; priya-tama — given by their beloved (Krishna); ādishtam — the instructions; ākarnya — hearing; vraja-yoshitah — the women of Vraja; tāh — they; ūcuh — said; uddhavam — to Uddhava; prītah — pleased; tat — by that; sandeśa — message; āgata — having returned; smritīh — their memories.
TRANSLATION
Śukadeva Gosvāmī said: The women of Vraja were pleased to hear this message from their dearmost Krishna. His words having revived their memory, they addressed Uddhava as follows.
