jānīmas tvām yadu-pateh

pārshadam samupāgatam

bhartreha preshitah pitror

bhavān priya-cikīrshayā

SYNONYMS

jānīmah — we know; tvām — you; yadu-pateh — of the chief of the Yadus; pārshadam — the personal associate; samupāgatam — arrived here; bhartrā — by your master; iha — here; preshitah — sent; pitroh — of His parents; bhavān — your good self; priya — satisfaction; cikīrshayā — wanting to give.

TRANSLATION

[The gopīs said:] We know that you are the personal servant of Krishna, the chief of the Yadus, and that you have come here on the order of your good master, who desires to give pleasure to His parents.
