ity arcitah samstutaś ca

bhaktena bhagavān harih

akrūram sa-smitam prāha

gīrbhih sammohayann iva

SYNONYMS

iti — thus; arcitah — worshiped; samstutah — profusely glorified; ca — and; bhaktena — by His devotee; bhagavān — the Supreme Lord; harih — Krishna; akrūram — to Akrūra; sa-smitam — smiling; prāha — He spoke; gīrbhih — with His words; sammohayan — completely enchanting; iva — almost.

TRANSLATION

[Śukadeva Gosvāmī continued:] Thus worshiped and fully glorified by His devotee, the Supreme Lord Hari smilingly addressed Akrūra, completely charming him with His words.
