nirjitya dik-cakram abhuta-vigraho
varasana-sthah sama-raja-vanditah
griheshu maithunya-sukheshu yoshitam
krida-mrigah purusha isa niyate
SYNONYMS
nirjitya -- having conquered; dik -- of directions; cakram -- the whole circle; abhuta -- nonexistent; vigrahah -- any conflict for whom; vara-asana -- on an exalted throne; sthah -- seated; sama -- equal; raja -- by kings; vanditah -- praised; griheshu -- in residences; maithunya -- sex; sukheshu -- whose happiness; yoshitam -- of women; krida-mrigah -- a pet animal; purushah -- the person; isa -- O Lord; niyate -- is led about.
TRANSLATION
Having conquered the entire circle of directions and being thus free of conflict, a man sits on a splendid throne, receiving praise from leaders who were once his equals. But when he enters the women's chambers, where sex pleasure is found, he is led about like a pet animal, O Lord.
