SYNONYMS

vilokya -- seeing; vega -- of the waves; rabhasam -- the fierceness; ripu -- enemy; sainyasya -- of the armies; madhavau -- the two Madhavas (Krishna and Balarama); manushya -- humanlike; ceshtam -- behavior; apannau -- assuming; rajan -- O King (Parikshit); dudruvatuh -- ran away; drutam -- quickly.

TRANSLATION

O King, seeing the fierce waves of the enemy's army, the two Madhavas, imitating human behavior, ran swiftly away.
