Bhaktivedanta VedaBase: Śrīmad Bhāgavatam 10.54.30
tato rathād avaplutya
kṛṣṇam abhyadravat kruddhaḥ
patańga iva pāvakam
tataḥ — then; rathāt — from his chariot; avaplutya — leaping down; khaḍga — a sword; paṇiḥ — in his hand; jighāḿsayā — with the desire to kill; kṛṣṇam — Lord Kṛṣṇa; abhyadravat — he ran toward; kruddhaḥ — furious; patańgaḥ — a bird; iva — as; pāvakam — the wind.
Then Rukmī leaped down from his chariot and, sword in hand, rushed furiously toward Kṛṣṇa to kill Him, like a bird flying into the wind.
