tato rathad avaplutya
khadga-panir jighamsaya
SYNONYMS
tatah -- then; rathat -- from his chariot; avaplutya -- leaping down; khadga -- a sword; panih -- in his hand; jighamsaya -- with the desire to kill; krishnam -- Lord Krishna; abhyadravat -- he ran toward; kruddhah -- furious; patangah -- a bird; iva -- as; pavakam -- the wind.
TRANSLATION
Then Rukmi leaped down from his chariot and, sword in hand, rushed furiously toward Krishna to kill Him, like a bird flying into the wind.
