tam apatantim gadaya gadam mridhe
gadagrajo nirbibhide sahasradha
udyamya bahun abhidhavato 'jitah
SYNONYMS
tam -- that; apatantim -- flying toward; gadaya -- with His club; gadam -- the club; mridhe -- on the battleground; gada-agrajah -- Lord Krishna, the elder brother of Gada; nirbibhide -- broke; sahasradha -- into thousands of pieces; udyamya -- raising; bahun -- his arms; abhidhavatah -- of the one running at him; ajitah -- unconquerable Lord Krishna; siramsi -- the heads; cakrena -- with His disc; jahara -- removed; lilaya -- easily.
TRANSLATION
As Mura's club sped toward Him on the battlefield, Lord Gadagraja intercepted it with His own and broke it into thousands of pieces. Mura then raised his arms high and rushed at the unconquerable Lord, who easily sliced off his heads with His disc weapon.
