SYNONYMS

sthapitah -- established; satyabhamayah -- of Satyabhama; griha -- of the residence; udyana -- the garden; upasobhanah -- beautifying; anvaguh -- followed; bhramarah -- bees; svargat -- from heaven; tat -- for its; gandha -- fragrance; asava -- and sweet sap; lampatah -- greedy.

TRANSLATION

Once planted, the parijata tree beautified the garden of Queen Satyabhama's palace. Bees followed the tree all the way from heaven, greedy for its fragrance and sweet sap.
