sankha-nadena yantrani

hridayani manasvinam

prakaram gadaya gurvya

nirbibheda gadadharah

SYNONYMS

sankha -- of His conchshell; nadena -- with the resounding; yantrani -- the mystic talismans; hridayani -- the hearts; manasvinam -- of the brave warriors; prakaram -- the ramparts; gadaya -- with His club; gurvya -- heavy; nirbibheda -- He broke; gadadharah -- Lord Krishna.

TRANSLATION

With the sound of His conchshell Lord Gadadhara then shattered the magic seals of the fortress, along with the hearts of its brave defenders, and with His heavy club He demolished the surrounding earthen ramparts.
