evam matsarinam hatva

paundrakam sa-sakham harih

dvarakam avisat siddhair

giyamana-kathamrtah

SYNONYMS

evam -- thus; matsarinam -- envious; hatva -- killing; paundrakam -- Paundraka; sa -- together with; sakham -- his friend; harih -- Lord Krsna; dvarakam -- Dvaraka; avisat -- He entered; siddhaih -- by the mystics of heaven; giyamana -- being sung; katha -- narrations about Him; amrtah -- nectarean.

TRANSLATION

Having thus killed envious Paundraka and his ally, Lord Krsna returned to Dvaraka. As He entered the city, the Siddhas of heaven chanted His immortal, nectarean glories.
