dutas tu dvarakam etya

sabhayam asthitam prabhum

krishnam kamala-patraksham

raja-sandesam abravit

SYNONYMS

dutah -- the messenger; tu -- then; dvarakam -- at Dvaraka; etya -- arriving; sabhayam -- in the royal assembly; asthitam -- present; prabhum -- to the almighty Lord; krishnam -- Krishna; kamala -- of a lotus; patra -- (like) the petals; aksham -- whose eyes; raja -- of his King; sandesam -- the message; abravit -- spoke.

TRANSLATION

Arriving in Dvaraka, the messenger found lotus-eyed Krishna in His royal assembly and relayed the King's message to that almighty Lord.
