mantrayantam -- consulting; ca -- and; kasmimscit -- somewhere; mantri-bhih -- with advisers; ca -- and; uddhava-adibhih -- Uddhava and others; jala -- watery; krida -- in sports; ratam -- engaged; kva api -- somewhere; vara-mukhya -- by royal dancing girls; abala -- and other women; vritam -- accompanied.
TRANSLATION
Somewhere He was consulting with royal ministers like Uddhava, and somewhere else He was enjoying in the water, surrounded by many society girls and other young women.
PURPORT
This translation is based on Srila Prabhupada's Krishna. According to Srila Visvanatha Cakravarti, Lord Krishna met with His counselors around dusk and enjoyed water sports in the afternoon.
