ity ardyamānā saubhena

kṛṣṇasya nagarī bhṛśam

nābhyapadyata śaḿ rājaḿs

tri-pureṇa yathā mahī

SYNONYMS

iti — thus; ardyamānā — tormented; saubhena — by the airplane Saubha; kṛṣṇasya — of Lord Kṛṣṇa; nagarī — the city; bhṛśam — terribly; na abhyapadyata — could not have; śam — peace; rājanO King; tri-pureṇa — by the three aerial cities of the demons; yathāas; mahī — the earth.

TRANSLATION

Thus terribly tormented by the airship Saubha, Lord Kṛṣṇa's city had no peace, O King, just like the earth when it was attacked by the three aerial cities of the demons.
