ātmānam akritāśisham
nānusmaratha sattamāh
SYNONYMS
kuntī uvāca — Queen Kuntī said; ārya — O respectable one; bhrātah — O brother; aham — I; manye — think; ātmānam — myself; akrita — having failed to achieve; āśisham — my desires; yat — since; vai — indeed; āpatsu — in times of danger; mat — to me; vārtām — what occurred; na anusmaratha — all of you do not remember; sat-tamāh — most saintly.
TRANSLATION
Queen Kuntī said: My dear, respectable brother, I feel that my desires have been frustrated, because although all of you are most saintly, you forgot me during my calamities.
