niśamyettham bhagavatah
krishnasyākuntha-medhasah
vaco duranvayam viprās
SYNONYMS
śrī-śukah uvāca — Śukadeva Gosvāmī said; niśamya — hearing; ittham — such; bhagavatah — of the Supreme Lord; krishnasya — Krishna; akuntha — unrestricted; medhasah — whose wisdom; vacah — the words; duranvayam — difficult to comprehend; viprāh — the learned brāhmanas; tūshnīm — silent; āsan — were; bhramat — unsteady; dhiyah — their minds.
TRANSLATION
Śukadeva Gosvāmī said: Hearing such unfathomable words from the unlimitedly wise Lord Krishna, the learned brāhmanas remained silent, their minds bewildered.
