tad vikshya tan upavrajya

vasudevo maha-yasah

pranamya copasangrihya

babhashedam su-yantritah

SYNONYMS

tat -- this; vikshya -- seeing; tan -- them; upavrajya -- approaching; vasudevah -- Vasudeva; maha -- great; yasah -- whose fame; pranamya -- bowing down; ca -- and; upasangrihya -- taking hold of their feet; babhasha -- he said; idam -- this; su -- very; yantritah -- carefully composed.

TRANSLATION

Seeing that they were about to leave, the renowned Vasudeva approached the sages. After bowing down to them and touching their feet, he spoke to them with carefully chosen words.
