ekadā nārado lokān

paryatan bhagavat-priyah

sanātanam rishim drashtum

yayau nārāyanāśramam

SYNONYMS

ekadā — once; nāradahNārada Muni; lokān — the worlds; paryatan — traveling about; bhagavat — of the Supreme Lord; priyah — the beloved; sanātanam — primeval; rishim — the divine sage; drashtumto see; yayau — went; nārāyana-āśramamto the hermitage of Lord Nārāyana Rishi.

TRANSLATION

Once, while traveling among the various planets of the universe, the Lord's beloved devotee Nārada went to visit the primeval sage Nārāyana at His āśrama.
