prasahyakarshate manah

uru-gayoru-gito va

pasyantinam ca kim punah

SYNONYMS

sruta -- heard about; matrah -- merely; api -- even; yah -- who (Lord Krishna); strinam -- of women; prasahya -- by force; akarshate -- attracts; manah -- the minds; uru -- numerous; gaya -- by songs; uru -- in numerous ways; gitah -- sung about; va -- on the other hand; pasyantinam -- of those women who see him; ca -- and; kim -- what; punah -- more.

TRANSLATION

The Lord, whom countless songs glorify in countless ways, forcibly attracts the minds of all women who simply hear about Him. What to speak, then, of those women who see Him directly?
