tat-putrāś cānupūrvaśah
SYNONYMS
tāsām — among them; strī — of women; ratna — gems; bhūtānām — who were; ashtau — eight; yāh — who; prāk — previously; udāhritāh — described; rukminī-pramukhāh — headed by Rukminī; rājan — O King (Parīkshit); tat — their; putrāh — sons; ca — also; anupūrvaśah — in consecutive order.
TRANSLATION
Among these jewellike women were eight principal queens, headed by Rukminī. I have already described them one after another, O King, along with their sons.
