śrī-śuka uvāca

rājann evam krita-praśno

vasudevena dhīmatā

prītas tam āha devarshir

hareh samsmārito gunaih

SYNONYMS

śrī-śukah uvācaŚrī Śukadeva Gosvāmī said; rājanO King; evam — thus; krita-praśnah — questioned; vasudevena — by Vasudeva; dhīmatā — the intelligent; prītah — pleased; tamto him; āha — spoke; deva-rishih — the sage among the demigods; hareh — of Lord Hari; samsmāritahmade to remember; gunaih — by the qualities.

TRANSLATION

Śukadeva Gosvāmī said: O King, Devarshi Nārada was pleased by the questions of the highly intelligent Vasudeva. Because they suggested the transcendental qualities of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, they reminded Nārada of Lord Krishna. Thus Nārada replied to Vasudeva as follows.
