SYNONYMS
sata-varsa -- lasting one hundred years; hi -- indeed; anavrstih -- drought; bhavisyati -- there will be; ulbana -- terrible; bhuvi -- on the earth; tat-kala -- in that duration of time; upacita -- accumulated; usna -- whose heat; arkah -- the sun; lokan -- the worlds; trin -- three; pratapisyati -- will greatly burn.
TRANSLATION
As cosmic annihilation approaches, a terrible drought takes place on earth for one hundred years. For one hundred years the heat of the sun gradually increases, and its blazing heat begins to torment the three worlds.
