SYNONYMS

rama-niryanam -- the departure of Lord Balarama; alokya -- observing; bhagavan -- the Supreme Lord; devaki-sutah -- the son of Devaki; nishasada -- sat down; dhara-upasthe -- on the lap of the earth; tushnim -- silently; asadya -- finding; pippalam -- a pippala tree.

TRANSLATION

Lord Krishna, the son of Devaki, having seen the departure of Lord Rama, sat down silently on the ground under a nearby pippala tree.
