SYNONYMS
krite — in Satya-yuga; śuklah — white; catuh-bāhuh — having four arms; jatilah — with matted locks; valkala-ambarah — wearing a garment of tree bark; krishna-ajina — a black deerskin; upavīta — a brāhmana's sacred thread; akshān — prayer beads made of aksha seeds; bibhrat — carrying; danda — a rod; kamandalū — and waterpot.
TRANSLATION
In Satya-yuga the Lord is white and four-armed, has matted locks and wears a garment of tree bark. He carries a black deerskin, a sacred thread, prayer beads and the rod and waterpot of a brahmacārī.
