patni -- wife; mariceh -- of the sage named Marici; tu -- also; kala -- named Kala; sushuve -- gave birth; kardama-atmaja -- daughter of Kardama Muni; kasyapam -- of the name Kasyapa; purnimanam ca -- and of the name Purnima; yayoh -- by whom; apuritam -- spread all over; jagat -- the world.
TRANSLATION
Kardama Muni's daughter Kala, who was married to Marici, gave birth to two children, whose names were Kasyapa and Purnima. Their descendants are spread all over the world.
