bhṛguḥ khyātyāḿ mahā-bhāgaḥ

patnyāḿ putrān ajījanat

dhātāraḿ ca vidhātāraḿ

śriyaḿ ca bhagavat-parām

SYNONYMS

bhṛguḥ — the great sage Bhṛgu; khyātyāmin his wife, Khyāti; mahā-bhāgaḥ — greatly fortunate; patnyām — unto the wife; putrān — sons; ajījanat — gave birth; dhātāramDhātā; ca — also; vidhātāramVidhātā; śriyama daughter named Śrī; ca bhagavat-parām — and a great devotee of the Lord.

TRANSLATION

The sage Bhṛgu was highly fortunate. In his wife, known as Khyāti, he begot two sons, named Dhātā and Vidhātā, and one daughter, named Śrī, who was very much devoted to the Supreme Personality of Godhead.
