kimpurushe varshe bhagavantam ādi-purusham lakshmanāgrajam sītābhirāmam rāmam tac-carana-sannikarshābhiratah parama-bhāgavato hanumān saha kimpurushair avirata-bhaktir upāste
SYNONYMS
śrī-śukah uvāca — Śrī Śukadeva Gosvāmī continued to speak; kimpurushe varshe — the tract of land known as Kimpurusha; bhagavantam — the Supreme Personality of Godhead; ādi-purusham — the original cause of all causes; lakshmana-agra-jam — the elder brother of Lakshmana; sītā-abhirāmam — who is very pleasing to mother Sītā, or who is the husband of Sītādevī; rāmam — Lord Rāmacandra; tat-carana-sannikarsha-abhiratah — one always engaged in service at the lotus feet of Lord Rāmacandra; parama-bhāgavatah — the great devotee celebrated throughout the universe; hanumān — His Grace Hanumānjī; saha — with; kimpurushaih — the inhabitants of the tract of land known as Kimpurusha; avirata — continuous; bhaktih — who possesses devotional service; upāste — worships.
TRANSLATION
Śrīla Śukadeva Gosvāmī said: My dear King, in Kimpurusha-varsha the great devotee Hanumān is always engaged with the inhabitants of that land in devotional service to Lord Rāmacandra, the elder brother of Lakshmana and dear husband of Sītādevī.
