tat-prasavotsarpana-bhaya-khedāturā sva-ganena viyujyamānā kasyāńcid daryām krishna-sārasatī nipapātātha ca mamāra
SYNONYMS
tat-prasava — from untimely discharge of that (baby deer); utsarpana — from jumping across the river; bhaya — and from fear; kheda — by exhaustion; āturā — afflicted; sva-ganena — from the flock of deer; viyujyamānā — being separated; kasyāńcit — in some; daryām — cave of a mountain; krishna-sārasatī — the black doe; nipapāta — fell down; atha — therefore; ca — and; mamāra — died.
TRANSLATION
Being separated from its flock and distressed by its miscarriage, the black doe, having crossed the river, was very much distressed. Indeed, it fell down in a cave and died immediately.
