SYNONYMS
śrī-śukah uvāca — Śrī Śukadeva Gosvāmī said; vilapantyā — with the woman who was lamenting; mritam — dead; putram — for the son; iti — thus; citra-vilāpanaih — with various lamentations; citraketuh — King Citraketu; bhriśam — very much; taptah — aggrieved; mukta-kanthah — loudly; ruroda — cried; ha — indeed.
TRANSLATION
Śrī Śukadeva Gosvāmī continued: Accompanied by his wife, who was thus lamenting for her dead son, King Citraketu began crying loudly with an open mouth, being greatly aggrieved.
