evam kaśmalam āpannam

nashta-samjñam anāyakam

jñātvāńgirā nāma rishir

ājagāma sanāradah

SYNONYMS

evam — thus; kaśmalam — misery; āpannam — having gotten; nashta — lost; samjñam — consciousness; anāyakam — without help; jñātvā — knowing; ańgirāh — Ańgirā; nāma — named; rishih — the saintly person; ājagāma — came; sa-nāradah — with Nārada Muni.

TRANSLATION

When the great sage Ańgirā understood that the King was almost dead in an ocean of lamentation, he went there with Nārada Rishi.

Thus end the Bhaktivedanta purports of the Sixth Canto, Fourteenth Chapter, of the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, entitled "King Citraketu's Lamentation."
