SYNONYMS
śrī-sūtah uvāca — Sūta Gosvāmī said; iti — thus; sampraśnam — the inquiry; ākarnya — hearing; rājarsheh — of King Parīkshit; bādarāyanih — Śukadeva Gosvāmī; pratinandya — praising; mahā-yogī — the great yogī; jagāda — replied; muni-sattamāh — O best of the sages.
TRANSLATION
Sūta Gosvāmī said: O great sages [assembled at Naimishāranya], after the great yogi Śukadeva Gosvāmī heard King Parīkshit's inquiry, he praised it and thus replied.
