SYNONYMS

sri-badarayanih uvaca -- Sri Sukadeva Gosvami said; vrtah -- the chosen; purohitah -- priest; tvastrah -- the son of Tvasta; mahendraya -- unto King Indra; anuprcchate -- after he (Indra) inquired; narayana-akhyam -- named Narayana-kavaca; varma -- defensive armor made of a mantra; aha -- he said; tat -- that; iha -- this; eka-manah -- with great attention; srnu -- hear from me.

TRANSLATION

Sri Sukadeva Gosvami said: King Indra, the leader of the demigods, inquired about the armor known as Narayana-kavaca from Visvarupa, who was engaged by the demigods as their priest. Please hear Visvarupa's reply with great attention.
