tatah sampūjya śirasā

vavande parameshthinam

bhavam prajāpatīn devān

prahrādo bhagavat-kalāh

SYNONYMS

tatah — thereafter; sampūjya — worshiping; śirasā — by bowing the head; vavande — offered prayers; parameshthinamto Lord Brahmā; bhavamto Lord Śiva; prajāpatīnto the great demigods entrusted with increasing the population; devānto all the great demigods; prahrādahPrahlāda Mahārāja; bhagavat-kalāh — influential parts of the Lord.

TRANSLATION

Prahlāda Mahārāja then worshiped and offered prayers to all the demigods, such as Brahmā, Śiva and the Prajāpatis, who are all parts of the Lord.
