PURPORT
The discourse concerning Lord Nrisimhadeva and Prahlāda Mahārāja began when Mahārāja Yudhishthira asked Nārada how Śiśupāla had merged into the body of Krishna. Śiśupāla and Dantavakra were the same Hiranyāksha and Hiranyakaśipu. Here Nārada Muni is relating how in three different births the associates of Lord Vishnu were killed by Lord Vishnu Himself. First they were the demons Hiranyāksha and Hiranyakaśipu.
