kshaumam dukūlam ajinam

cīram valkalam eva

vase 'nyad api samprāptam

dishta-bhuk tushta-dhīr aham

SYNONYMS

kshaumam — clothing made of linen; dukūlam — silk or cotton; ajinam — deerskin; cīram — loincloth; valkalam — bark; evaas it is; — either; vaseI put on; anyat — something else; api — although; samprāptamas available; dishta-bhuk — because of destiny; tushta — satisfied; dhīh — mind; ahamI am.

TRANSLATION

To cover my body I use whatever is available, whether it be linen, silk, cotton, bark or deerskin, according to my destiny, and I am fully satisfied and unagitated.
