ko nu me bhagavan kamo

na sampadyeta manasah

yasya bhavan prajadhyaksha

evam dharman prabhashate

SYNONYMS

kah -- what; nu -- indeed; me -- my; bhagavan -- O lord; kamah -- desire; na -- not; sampadyeta -- can be fulfilled; manasah -- within my mind; yasyah -- of me; bhavan -- your good self; praja-adhyakshah -- Prajapati; evam -- thus; dharman -- religious principles; prabhashate -- talks.

TRANSLATION

O my lord, since you are a Prajapati and are personally my instructor in the principles of religion, where is the possibility that all my desires will not be fulfilled?
