SYNONYMS
niyamane -- being carried; asuraih -- by the demons; tasmin -- that; kalase -- jug; amrita-bhajane -- containing nectar; vishanna-manasah -- aggrieved in mind; devah -- all the demigods; harim -- unto the Supreme Lord; saranam -- to take shelter; ayayuh -- went.
TRANSLATION
When the jug of nectar was carried off by the demons, the demigods were morose. Thus they sought shelter at the lotus feet of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Hari.
